Changing Your Myspace Profile

People say the #1 fear in the real world is public speaking. People feel inadequate, judged, exposed and naked, which is understandable. What about the number one fear in the virtual reality world?

Creating an online dating get fit shouldn’t be too complicated. Don’t make it too long, which means only using a few paragraphs. It should also be easy to read, while providing enough information to demonstrate your personality.

The goal here is not to discourage you from listing out a common activity many people enjoy but to encourage you to state it in a way that will show your personality. So if you really like movies and taking long walks, how do you state it so it stands out?

If you have tons of pictures taken with beautiful women all the time, that will convey to her that you might be a player. When it comes to Asian dating online, you want to be aware of that. Having pictures with a lot of friends is one thing. Having pictures with a lot of beautiful women is another. Moderate those kind of pictures if you have plenty.

6) Be sure to state exactly what you are looking for in a relationship. A few people on dating sites are looking for a casual encounter. If that is not what you after, explicitly say that you are only after a serious relationship. This will sort out the serious from the not so serious online profile daters.

Say no to Trackers. One of the more recent crazes on mySpace has been; profile trackers. These tools are installed on your computer to show you who has been looking at your profile. It’s a nifty device, but it comes for a price while the program is spying on your friends, it is also spying on you. Not all of these programs are bad, but many install spyware onto your computer as you download them, putting you at risk for identity theft. Unless you know a lot about computer programming and can pick out the bad trackers, stay away from them altogether.

After a couple of days I had received no reply. This started me wondering. Is she ignoring me? Did she get my request? My other family members (including my daughters, I’m glad to say) had responded and become friends. Or was there another reason, something more insidious? So, I asked her if she was ignoring me. She said no. Fair enough, I believed her. She was surprised that I had been able to find her at all given her privacy settings (that’s off the point of this article, though I did touch on it earlier).

If you really want to stand out, post a picture that stands out. We don’t mean a picture which features you in compromising situations (such as dancing on top of a table at a bar). Post a decent picture that says it all about you. For example, if you are into adrenaline sports then post a picture of you sky diving. Whatever photo you decide to post, make sure you are happy with it. After all, it is your happiness that matters the most. So good luck and have fun dating!
