If you think that US has everything that you want then you are in for a surprise because not everything especially when it comes to car can be found in the land of milk and honey.
Check the tail pipe. With the engine running, go to the tail pipe and stand there and smell it. Yes I did say that. If it burns in your eyes and throat, it has a vacuum leak in the motor, often a simple fix but time consuming trying to find it. It will not pass smog with this problem. If the exhaust smells of gasoline and the tail pipe looks black, the engine is running too rich and will need an adjustment. It may or may not pass smog. Likely you will need to replace the spark plugs as well. If it smells like any other car with a recycle catalytic converters, it is probably fine.
So the long and short of it is, the DME turns on the Air pump, the sensors sense no change indicating A Secondary Air Injection malfunction or low flow and DME turns on the Check Engine Light. Now what? Dig in.
The suspension system supports the weight of the car. It has wheels, axles, tires and springs. Most cars have shock absorbers to guarantee a smooth ride. Springs are between the axles of the wheels and the body of the car. They allow each wheel to move up and down on its own. The tires also help to make driving smoother. They are built so that they give the car grip on roads in all conditions.
So what is the automotive industry doing about environmentally friendly cars? Is it even interested? These things cost money, may help reduce pollution, but in no way address making engines more efficient and thus save cash.
Well, the short answer is politics and economics (which in this country go hand in hand). Certainly at least a modicum of conspiracy…with certain patents bought out and people threatened appropriately to keep their ideas to themselves for a while longer. By who? Oil producing ($$$$) countries and corporations (many of whom ran..or run…some of those countries) of course. It wasn’t isn’t personal…just business as many a good mafia business man would catalytic converter recycler put it!
In 1992 the third generation RX-7 was introduced and the sales of the RX-7 stopped during 1995 when only a limited number of the Mazda RX-7s were shipped to the United States dealers for sale. Sales of the vehicle continued in other parts of the world until 2002.
A lot of junk car companies will give you a price for the car, and then when they show up, they deduct the price of towing from the final cost. This is another trick. If they were going to deduct the towing from the price, then they should have told you that over the phone. So tell them no, and that you will only sell for the price agreed upon.
