Life Can Bring Happiness
‘SALES’ is a difficult field. It can take the wind out of your sails. After all, convincing someone of an idea that even you do not sometimes believe in has got to be a difficult job. You have first got to formulate strategies to beat the counter question of a would-be buyer. You cannot try unethical means to realize sales of course. So what enables you to take up this challenge on a lean curve?
Understand that when under stress you need to be extra vigilant so you don’t regress to old and ineffective behavior or habits. For example people will often revert back to smoking, drinking or over eating during times of stress, hence the saying; during stress we often regress.
People are only motivated in the long run if they are doing something that is their passion or that interests them, something that they feel is meaningful. They must have a feeling of being part of a community. They must work for, be part of, and believe that they are working towards something much bigger than themselves. They must build a legacy. This legacy is not the life on the beach or travelling.
So you want to come up with new ideas, inspiring new content for a story, or maybe you just want to know for certain what you want to do in life. So, whenever you are being motivated, double check. Is this motivation resonating with me, am I driven to take action, or is it just an outer shell? If it’s a true motivation from within yourself, retain the motivation, if it’s somebody else’s, discard it. Simple and effective. Note that this is just a safety measure. I usually consider interior motivation to be true and exterior motivation to not feel so true. If you are the kind of person that can hear about others’ achievements and still act with perfect confidence and discipline as if it were yourself, by all means do it. It’s just most people don’t consider exterior motivation that truthful after some time, and this is the way to prevent that.
Identify and write down the number one MOTIVATING reason why you want to get in shape. Why am I emphasizing “motivating”? Well, this is because most people want to get in shape for the obvious reasons (lose weight, burn fat, improve health, etc.). Although those reasons can be motivating, and they of course are very important, most of us need that extra “push” to make us want to stick to something.
Once you get to that point you’ll be able to hold onto so much motivation that it’ll be sloshing over the top as you race forward – and you’ll have become a motivational resource for those around you as well. Just think of all you’ll accomplish when you no longer run out of motivation!
